I have read every single book about the famous dark elf more then once and I would love to have a great original painting of drizzt and gwen!
I have no originals remaining of Drizzt, though I realize that’s not what you were asking. Honestly, I have other things to paint… ;o)
Hello Mr Lockwodd!
Awesome work here on your web site. I was wondering if you had any original paintings for sale?
Only a very few; a smattering of older paintings. I intend to make a “paintings for sale” page on the website sooner or later.
Mr. Lockwood I am a huge fan of your work and I have been trying to find on your website the painting of the Hellfire wyrm I don’t know why but out of all your work that is my favorite. Keep up the awesome work
There are two paintings of the Hellfire Wyrm that you might be referring to: this one or another which I can’t seem to locate on my site—a simple rendition of the dragon alone from one of the resource books…
Hey Mr Lockwood! Love your work both digital and original! Do you have any Original pieces left for sale from MTG? Thanks!
I still have the Kavu Titan, I believe, and possibly one or two other smaller ones, though I’d have to do some digging to find them. They may come to light when I start the move into my new studio, which should be soon…
Hi I have been lucky enough to buy one of you figures “demon” (the silver resin edition ) she is absolutely amazing but I can’t find any information on the range or anywhere that may stock them or it if there was only one, please help ! I have a small shop and would also be interested in stocking them so is there a wholesale option
I am very attracted to your lovely artwork titled “Seraph of the Dawn”. I have been wondering if the original is still available, and, if so, is it for sale?
R. Martin Cannell.
Seraph of the Dawn is a digital painting, and as such there is no original. Sorry about that. It is available as a print in a number of formats, including a high end LE giclee, but I understand if you are focused on originals only. Thank you for your kind interest regardless.
Mr. Lockwood, I was wondering if you do commission work and, if so, at what cost?
Good afternoon, would by any chance you have any original paintings for sale from the forgotten realms book series? especially ones written by R.A Salvadore? Many thanks and love the artwork.
Only a very few of those were done traditionally, in oils. Those have long since sold. The remainder were done digitally, so there are no actual originals. :o(
I’m pretty sure every D&D related painting I own is gone, with the exception of the Silver Dragon, which is MINE.
Oh, and with only three or four exceptions, every Drizzt cover I did for Bob’s books were done digitally.
Dear Mr. Lockwood,
I’m a big fan and I would love to own one of your original paintings. Is there a list of what pieces you have available? Or would it be better for me to inquire about the specific pieces I’m most interested in?
I don’t have many oil paintings left, and many of those are mine. Under each painting in the galleries, it notes what medium I used. Anything marked as “Digital,” of course, has no original. Others may be available, but I can tell you that almost all the D&D stuff is gone. I might still have the Kavu Titan… is that the right title? The titles of Magic Cards especially change from when I was painting them to when they released, and I can’t always keep them straight. :oP
Hello Mr Lockwood,
We have a few of your prints up on our walls, along with work from Elmore and Alan M Clark.
My wife and I love them all.
I’m curious if your Anniversary Dragonlance painting could be made available in a gallery wrap giclee? That would be quite the centerpiece of art.
What do you mean when you say “Gallery Wrap” giclee? Canvas print?
Yes, the giclee is printed on canvas, with enough of a border that it can be stretched over a wooden strainer/stretcher frame. Then the canvas is stapled to the back of the wooden frame.
We have two such pieces of art purchased from Disney because my wife Paula has a thing for Maleficent, and for Maleficent in dragon form. You can see some of their examples at disneystore dot com.
Most of the gallery wrapped art I’ve seen has some extra coloring or Remarque along the 1 inch surrounding edge, instead of it just being white. But white could be cool too.
Do you think it would be possible for you to sell something like that, or sell the giclee on canvas so we could have it mounted that way?
